In order to allocate resources wisely and fairly, St. James uses an online Financial Aid Management service as the standard submission format and processor for all tuition assistance applications.
The application process is self-guided and customer service is available 24/7 through their helpline at 866.315.9262.
FACTS does not decide whether tuition assistance will be given or how much will be given; rather, FACTS provides a need-based financial aid analysis service, which includes a recommendation of what a family should reasonably contribute toward tuition. St. James uses the analysis provided by FACTS to make financial aid determinations. All information is confidential and because need is assessed annually, a new FACTS application must be submitted each year.
Applications for Tuition Assistance are available annually between February 1st and May 1st. Applicants may log onto FACTSmgt.com to fill out an application for Tuition Assistance and submit financial records required by clicking the link below. Assistance is awarded to students entering K – 5th grade according to financial need and to the extent of available tuition assistance funds. For further questions regarding Tuition Assistance please contact the Business Manager.
St. James Episcopal School offers multiple discount options for our students annually. Families have the option of paying in full for their students’ tuition to receive a $200 discount off every student they pay for in full at the beginning of the school year. To be eligible for this discount, your family’s tuition payment must be received prior to September 5th. If the full tuition payment(s) are not received by the fifth of September, this discount is no longer valid, and the full tuition amount is assessed for the year.
SJES also offers a multiple child discount for families with more than one student at St. James. This $200 discount is applied to your families account at the beginning of the school year and reflects as follows: Your oldest student is charged the full tuition for the school year and each additional child would receive this discount off their tuition charges for the year.
St. James also offers a discount off our faculty and staff members students’ tuition. If you are interested in joining our team, please click here to apply now.
All the above listed discounts can be combined each year along with tuition assistance to maximize your family’s ability to enroll your student(s) in St. James Episcopal School. For questions or more information on any of the discounts listed above please contact the school business office at or call us at (830)775-9911 and a member of our Administrative Staff will be happy to assist you.

Don’t let misconceptions about affordability discourage you from exploring St. James as an option for your family. We strive to maintain an affordable, yet appropriate tuition structure and we appreciate the financial commitment our parents make to send their student(s) to SJES. Four different payment plans are offered in order to provide flexibility and choice for families as they budget. We also encourage all interested applicants, regardless of financial status, to consider applying for tuition assistance and discount options offered. To supplement tuition payments made by our families, St. James annually makes more than ten thousand dollars in financial aid available to qualifying students.
