Lunch Information

Campers have the option to order a camp meal for the week, or bring a packed lunch from home each day. It is important that if you choose to bring a lunch from home that it is sent with the student upon their arrival at camp every morning to avoid any delays in their schedule.

If you choose to purchase a lunch, an email will be sent prior to the start of camp with instructions on how to do so. All lunches will need to be purchased and paid for in advance prior to the week(s) your child will be attending. **Camp lunch orders will be placed in advance, so no last minute orders will be permitted.

For reference, the lunch menu for all three weeks of Summer Camp will be as follows:

  1. Pizza

  2. Hamburger & Chips

  3. Chicken Nuggets, Chips or Apple Sauce

  4. Spaghetti & Garlic Toast

Camp Staff will have a list of each campers lunch option and will ensure that those who choose to bring a lunch from home have it upon arrival each morning.

**Please do not door dash for camp. For questions or concerns with lunches, please contact the school office.

*If there is not enough interest, families who have chosen this option will be notified in advance and any payments made will be refunded.

Camp Policies

Age Policy:

Campers must be between the age of 3 and 11 to attend summer camp. Three-year-old campers must be fully potty trained and must have completed a PK program prior to attending camp at SJES to be eligible to attend. Questions regarding the age policy for campers may be directed to the school office.

Behavior Policy:

Campers are expected to be on their best behavior and show respect for staff, facilities, and other campers. Rules and expectations will be provided to the campers upon arrival and failure to follow the rules could result in dismissal from the camp without a refund.

Dress Code:

Campers may wear St. James appropriate clothing. No crop tops, short shorts or skirts, and no spaghetti string tops. All dresses and skirts must have biker shorts underneath to promote modesty. Campers should wear comfortable shoes that are appropriate for outdoor activities.

Late Pickup:

Please respect our teachers time by picking up your camper(s) no later than 3:15pm for those that are not utilizing our ECC program and no later than 5:30pm for those that are utilizing the ECC program.

Incontinence:

It is our policy that campers must be toilet trained and must be able to take care of all personal bathroom needs, including wiping, independently. If an accident were to occur, our staff is not allowed to help your child change. If the camper is not able to clean or change themselves, a guardian will be contacted and asked to come assist.

Refund Policy:

Registration fee is due in full no later than May 23rd for your child to be registered. Camp registration must be cancelled on or before registration closes in order to receive a full refund. Any cancellation requests made after the forementioned date, will only receive a partial refund and/or credit.

Snacks/Lunch:

Lunch will be provided daily for campers who have chosen that option, or they may bring a packed lunch from home. They will have a food craft rotation that will provide a snack throughout their day, and a afternoon snack will be provided for those that stay for ECC in the afternoon.

Camp Supplies:

All camp supplies will be provided by the SJES Summer Camp staff. A water bottle, is all that is required to be brought daily by each camper. No backpacks will be allowed. Please make sure to label any outerwear, water bottles, and lunch bags, for those bringing their own lunches, with your child’s name to avoid the loss of any personal property.
